Sacred Ally invites you to an evening of Ecstatic Dance — a heart-opening journey of liberation, connection, and embodied expression.
Here, there are no steps to follow, no judgments, and no expectations. The dance floor is a sanctuary where you are free to release, remember, and return to the wisdom within. Guided by an intentionally crafted setlist that takes you on a musical journey, you’ll be invited to move through layers of energy — from grounding and release into expansion and pure ecstatic joy.
Our evening begins with a brief opening circle to set collective intention and create a field of presence and safety. From there, the music carries us into deep movement meditation, weaving together tribal beats, world rhythms, and soul-stirring melodies that awaken the body and spirit. We close in stillness and gratitude, integrating the journey through breath and reflection.
Ecstatic Dance is more than an event — it’s a practice of freedom, healing, and authentic connection. It’s an invitation to move from the mind into the heart, to shed what no longer serves, and to remember the wild, sacred, and untamed part of you that knows how to dance with life.
Our Dance Guidelines:
BE Present – No phones, no cameras on the dance floor.
BE Embodied – No talking on the dance floor.
BE Consensual – Honor personal boundaries. Listen for a Yes, respect a No.
BE Clear – No intoxicants on the dance floor.
BE Free – Dance how you want to. No judgment.
BE Here – No shoes on the dance floor.

Meet Your Host
Meet Sarah
Sarah co-founded Sacred Ally in 2019 with her husband Peter. Her journey as a healer began in 2001 with a deep curiosity in the realms of energy. Her belief is that our experience in life is directly related to the energetic nature of our being. From this curiosity she developed a clear calling to study and be of service through various healing modalities including Massage, Shamanic Reiki, Kambo, Mentorship and Visionary Breathwork.
Over the years Sarah has come to have great respect and reverence for the process of healing. As a Sacred Ally, it is her life’s purpose to hold sacred space for those on their healing and empowerment journey.
Meet Your DJ
Penélope Baquero
Penélope Baquero is a Colombian artist and a dreamer of ecofutures, profoundly inspired by the other-than-human and her Indigenous, Spanish, and Black, mixed race ancestors. She is a survivor of a rigid and full-of-shame religious education where her right to dance as a youth was traumatically stripped away from her by punishment and prohibition over time.
She went back to dance in her early 20's, always guided by AfroDiasporic music and mountains, jungles, streams, beaches, forests, and desserts (as well as people) in many places throughout the world. Her artistic and facilitator work has been inspired by caring for and healing the gem repressed inside.
Penélope weaves personal growth with eco social change. She is a compelling dance expression facilitator, moved to bring the passion of her dance culture, opening pathways for people to connect with self, music, movement and ancestors.
